About us.

The pool at Church Farm was originally created as a simple addition to the cottages, giving guests a place to relax, unwind, and enjoy time together during their stay. Over time, it became something more.

What started as a quiet facility for visitors has grown into a space that now welcomes the wider community, while still holding onto that same sense of calm, privacy, and simplicity.

Set within Church Farm in Winsley, just outside Bath, the pool sits at the heart of a small collection of independent businesses, all sharing a similar focus on wellbeing, nature, and meaningful experiences. From countryside stays at the cottages, to outdoor living with Campwell, functional fitness at Rustiq Fitness, and hands-on rural activities with Farmcraft Experiences, the farm has gradually become a place where people come to reset, connect, and enjoy something a little different.

A rural street with a curved asphalt road, a stone building with a red roof on the left, a wooden fence on the right, and large leafy trees providing shade, under a clear blue sky.

The pool plays its part in that experience. It offers a warm, private space where people can step away from busy environments and enjoy the water in a more relaxed and personal way.

Alongside private bookings, the pool is also home to a small number of trusted swim providers, including Waterbabies, Hydro-Active with Abi, and Karen Tweddle Swimming.

These sessions bring additional opportunities for learning, movement, and confidence in the water, while still keeping the overall feel of the space calm and welcoming.

At its core, the pool is about keeping things simple. A warm, clean space, set in the countryside, where you can take time out, move, relax, and enjoy being in the water — whether that’s for fun, for family, or for yourself.
